Summer Kick-off: Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-28
Plan your escape to Hidden Meadow Ranch for our terrific All-American long weekend! A Friday evening cocktail party will be hosted by General Manager Jane Lenci. On Saturday, enjoy a lunch cookout beside the trout pond at the original homestead cabin, featuring canoe races, a fly-fishing derby, archery and horseshoe contests. The kids will start their evening fun at Ranch Roundup with some elk scouting, and a special gathering for S'mores & Snifters that will close out an exciting day around the Fire Circle. Sunday afternoon brings a very special event we're calling “Boots, Beer and Barbecue,” starring the up-and-coming Country Western female trio called Arrowheart in concert at the Outfitter Barn! Monday morning we'll send you off with a campfire cowboy breakfast, complete with homemade Dutch oven biscuits and gravy. We have a few cabins available so
let us know right away if you'd like to join us for this very memorable holiday weekend. Local residents and visitors can join us for the concert for a $20.00 per person admission and lawn seating, or VIP admission for $50.00 per person for a fabulous BBQ dinner, concert, and front row seating!
The Wild Iris are Coming!
The 100-degree mark is already on record in the Arizona desert but it's 70 degrees and sunny at Hidden Meadow Ranch. The aspen trees are just leafing out, and the meadow will soon be painted purple and lavender with wild iris blossoms waving in the light spring breeze. Elk and deer are back in full force, hanging out at the entrance gate in the evenings and grazing the center lawn at night (leaving lots of evidence!). And a bunch of trout have been caught and released from the trout pond, so come enjoy the best of springtime during May and June in the White Mountains at Hidden Meadow Ranch!

A Hidden Meadow Baby Announcement
A beautiful little foal was born early on May 10th to our registered palomino Appaloosa mare, Apple! She arrived ten days early and (surprise!) was delivered safe and sound in the pasture just before morning feeding time. One of our guests, an obstetric anesthesiologist from London, even checked her out, so she had a British attending physician! Apple and her baby will spend time romping and socializing with our guests all summer in the Play Pasture, along with draft mare Babe and her foal due in June.
